Baseball Game Preview: Gadsden Panthers vs. Las Cruces Bulldawgs

For the second straight game, Gadsden will face off against Las Cruces. The Panthers will head out to challenge the Bulldawgs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gadsden is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Gadsden fell victim to Las Cruces and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-0 to the Bulldawgs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

For Las Cruces' part, the team relied heavily on Wyatt Major, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Nick Rojas, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Las Cruces hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gadsden struck out ten times.

Gadsden's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Las Cruces, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
