Baseball Recap: Warsaw Has No Trouble Against Lincoln

It was a proper cat-fight when Warsaw challenged Lincoln on Wednesday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Cardinals. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by eight runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Warsaw and bumps their season record up to 12-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Lincoln, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warsaw will challenge Camdenton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on May 5.
