Recap: Millersburg Indians vs. Annville-Cleona Dutchmen
The Millersburg Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 59-42 fall against Annville-Cleona. Millersburg lost against Annville-Cleona in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 42-39 score last time.
Millersburg's loss came despite strong showings from Kamdyn Heintzelman and Chase Romberger. Heintzelman scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals, while Romberger dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Heintzelman scored a full 47.6% of Millersburg's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Millersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Annville-Cleona, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Millersburg will stay at home for another game and welcome Susquenita at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. As for Annville-Cleona, they will head out on the road to face off against Big Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
