Volleyball Recap: Cunningham Comes Up Short

Cunningham lost against Skyline back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Thunderbirds.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17.

GRACE HAGEMAN paced Cunningham's offense, picking up four kills. HAGEMAN got some help from MACY NEUFELD and her five assists.

Skyline can attribute much of their success to Peyton Walker, who had ten digs and one assist. Walker has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Cunningham dropped their record down to 14-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Skyline, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-20.

Cunningham has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Stafford on the 11th. As for Skyline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Pretty Prairie on the 11th.
