Volleyball Recap: Columbus School for Girls Unicorns vs. Bexley Lions

Columbus School for Girls lost against Bexley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Unicorns lost 3-0 to the Lions. The Unicorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Columbus School for Girls was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-22.

Columbus School for Girls' loss came despite strong showings from Kate Amato and Kiersten Cahill. Amato had 15 digs and two assists, while Cahill had 11 assists and seven digs.

Bexley found their leader in sophomore Scarlett Larimer, who had 11 digs and one assist. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Larimer.
