Baseball Recap: Batesville Takes a Loss

Batesville's tournament run continued when they took on Warren on Friday. Batesville fell 12-7 to Warren. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jake Daughtery made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Batesville now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Warren, their victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Batesville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-8 loss against White Hall on the 29th. As for Warren, they will square off against Stuttgart at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
