Softball Recap: Burley Comes Up Short

Burley and Bishop Kelly squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Burley had to settle for second. They came up short against the Knights, falling 11-0. Considering the last time the Bobcats couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Burley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season. As for Bishop Kelly, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-6.

Burley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Kelly, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 win against Middleton on the 16th.
