Basketball Recap: Phoenixville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Owen J. Roberts last Wednesday, Phoenixville came back down to earth. The Phoenixville Phantoms took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spring-Ford Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-54 back in January.

Phoenixville's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 17-7. As for Spring-Ford, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Phoenixville will take on William Tennent at 1:00 p.m. on February 15th. As for Spring-Ford, they have already played their next match, a 47-45 loss against Pope John Paul II on the 10th.
