Soccer Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lake Stevens Vikings. Arlington were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lake Stevens apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2021.

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Lake Stevens, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arlington will take on Glacier Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Glacier Peak will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Arlington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Stevens, they will face off against Everett at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Everett's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
