Softball Recap: Family Christian Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Family Christian's offense. They lost 20-0 to the Maurepas Wolves on Tuesday. The Flames just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Family Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Maurepas, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Family Christian will host Madison Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Family Christian's pitchers better be ready for this one: Madison Prep Academy has averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Maurepas, they have already played their next match, a 15-5 defeat against Denham Springs on the 26th.
