Basketball Recap: Illiana Christian Falls to Kouts in First Game of Season

Illiana Christian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 70-42 loss at the hands of the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since December 13, 2024.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Illiana Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Munster at 7:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Kouts, they will face off against Hebron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Mustangs & Fillies' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
