Legacy waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Mead Mavericks as they made off with  an  11-1 win. Considering the Lightning have won five games by more than seven  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jason Olsen made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. He also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because Legacy is undefeated when he allows at  most  two  walks, but 2-4 otherwise. Olsen was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  triple, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news, Legacy let  Hudson Griffith and  Kellen Reiser run wild. Griffith  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI, while  Reiser  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Reiser has become a key player for Legacy: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 1-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Chase Hoelting, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Legacy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in six consecutive  matchups.
Legacy now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mead,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at six games  and leaves them with a 8-2 record.
 Coming up, Legacy will face off against Horizon at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Mead, they will square off against Skyline at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Mavericks are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
