Vinemont came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Brewer Patriots 70-27. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Brewer saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hannah Morrison posted nine points. Morrison has been hot, having also posted two or more blocks the last eight times she's played.

Vinemont is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Brewer, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.
