Baseball Recap: Moultonborough Academy Comes Up Short

Moultonborough Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Lin-Wood Lumberjacks, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 on May 5th.

Moultonborough Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Lin-Wood, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Moultonborough Academy and Lin-Wood will both be playing Lisbon the next time they take the field. The Lumberjacks will host the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
