Football Preview: Diboll Lumberjacks vs. West Rusk Raiders
The Diboll Lumberjacks will take on the West Rusk Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Diboll focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Friday.
Diboll can't be to happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 28-27 to Madisonville. The Lumberjacks have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as their matchup on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Although Diboll took the loss, they still got scores from Jamauri Gallien, Jaydan Miller, and Brayden Wilson.
Even though they lost, Diboll was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 218 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for West Rusk's offense. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of Malakoff on Friday.
