Volleyball Recap: Beaver's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Beaver entered their tilt with New Castle on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Hurricanes 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-10, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Malaya Oster, who had eight aces and one assist. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high.

Oster wasn't the only good servers: Beaver was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matches.

Beaver's record now sits at 28-2. As for New Castle, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Beaver and New Castle will both be playing Lincoln Park Performing Arts the next time they take the court. The Bobcats will host Lincoln Park Performing Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Hurricanes will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
