Ragsdale is 0-10 against Southwest Guilford since April of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Ragsdale Tigers will head out to take on the Southwest Guilford Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
It was a proper cat-fight when Ragsdale challenged Dudley on Wednesday. Ragsdale's pitchers stepped up to hand Dudley a 15-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Meanwhile, everything went Southwest Guilford's way against Cornerstone Charter on Wednesday as Southwest Guilford made off with a 15-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.
Caroline Christman was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time she hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aniya Harris, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Makayla Stefanik, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
