Basketball Recap: North Canyon Comes Up Short

North Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 95-46 loss at the hands of the Vista Murrieta Broncos.

North Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Vista Murrieta, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Canyon will challenge Youngker at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. North Canyon is facing Youngker at the right time seeing as Youngker is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Vista Murrieta, they will face off against Temecula Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vista Murrieta knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully Temecula Valley likes a good challenge.
