Frederick Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-49 victory over Varsity Opponent. The win was some much needed relief for the Defenders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Calvary Baptist Church Academy made easy work of Arlington Baptist on Tuesday and carried off a 58-33 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Calvary Baptist Church Academy has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Frederick Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Frederick Christian Academy strolled past Calvary Baptist Church Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 50-34.
