Softball Game Preview: Westwood Panthers vs. Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds

Westwood is 0-9 against Lincoln Park Academy since February of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Westwood Panthers will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Westwood is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They came up short against Bayside on Wednesday, falling 17-1. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Park Academy lost 20-4 to Vero Beach on Friday.

Lincoln Park Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justice Monds, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
