Burlington is 9-1 against Anderson County since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Burlington Wildcats just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Anderson County Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Burlington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Anderson County likes a good challenge.

On Monday, Burlington was able to grind out a solid victory over Santa Fe Trail, taking the game 65-53.

Meanwhile, Anderson County humbled Central Heights with a 70-35 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

Burlington better keep an eye on Noah Porter. He was instrumental in Anderson County's win, going 11 of 14 en route to 24 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. Porter's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brylan Sommer, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 19 points.

Burlington pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for Anderson County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Burlington was able to grind out a solid win over Anderson County when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 65-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Burlington since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
