Basketball Game Preview: Hockinson Hawks vs. Columbia River Rapids

Hockinson is 0-10 against Columbia River since January of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Hockinson Hawks will face off against the Columbia River Rapids at 7:00 p.m.

Hockinson is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They lost 75-51 to Heritage.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbia River). They blew past Hudson's Bay, posting a 97-31 victory. The Rapids have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season.

Columbia River has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.6 points per game. As for Hockinson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Hockinson was taken down by Columbia River 90-57 when the teams last played back in January. Can Hockinson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
