Creek Wood has gone a perfect 10-0 against Fairview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Creek Wood will square off against Fairview at 5:30 p.m. The last three games Creek Wood has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Creek Wood took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Camden Central 4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Elizabeth Martin spent all ten innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
At the plate, Creek Wood saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Howell, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI. That's the most hits Howell has posted over her last 13 matchups. Samantha Spencer also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Howell wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Creek Wood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairview). Everything went their way against Lawson on Wednesday as Fairview made off with a 19-4 win.
Cameryn Dunn and Abbie Hammon did most of the damage at the plate: Dunn scored four runs while going 2-for-3, while Hammon scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Dunn continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Ashlyn Corbin was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one run.
Creek Wood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. Fairview's record now sits at 2-3.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Creek Wood hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .347. However, it's not like Fairview struggles in that department as they've averaged .397. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Creek Wood came out on top in a nail-biter against Fairview in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 9-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Creek Wood since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
