There's no place like home for Atascadero, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Pioneer Valley Panthers 47-14 on Friday. That 33 point margin sets a new team best for the Greyhounds this season.

Damon Mitchell was his usual excellent self, rushing for 188 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, while also picking up 80 receiving yards and one score. Those 188 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Mike Trejo was another key player, rushing for 91 yards on only 12 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Atascadero was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 479 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

The win snapped Atascadero's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record. As for Pioneer Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
