Softball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for Chalker

Chalker won the last time they faced Windham and things went their way on Monday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Bombers by a score of 9-5.

Bailey Ann Bussey was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Alaynah Cox also deserves some recognition as she scored her first runs of the season.

Chalker pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Windham, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Chalker will be playing at home against Badger at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Windham, they will head out on the road to challenge Canton Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
