Football Recap: Desert Sunrise Takes a Loss

Desert Sunrise was the 18-12 winner over Tempe when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Hawks fell 14-6 to the Buffaloes on Tuesday. The Golden Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Desert Sunrise's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tempe, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Desert Sunrise will take on Marcos de Niza at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tempe, they will head out to challenge Flagstaff at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
