Softball Recap: Tooele Takes a Loss

Stansbury hit Tooele with a five-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Buffaloes took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stallions. The Buffaloes have struggled against the Stallions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Hunter Culley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Olivia Nelson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Tooele's record now sits at 10-13. As for Stansbury, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-11.

As of now, neither Tooele nor the Stallions have any future games scheduled.
