Basketball Game Preview: Riverview Sharks vs. Plant Panthers

The Riverview Sharks and the Plant Panthers will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Riverview will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Robinson, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Riverview came out on top in a nail-biter against Robinson on Tuesday, sneaking past 53-50. The victory was some much needed relief for the Sharks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Plant City typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Plant proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 61-40 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.

Riverview's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Plant, they have also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Riverview came up short against Plant in their previous matchup back in February of 2015, falling 51-39. Can Riverview avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
