Newton South kicked off their season on Tuesday but they'll have to wait until their next matchup for a more definitive result. They and the Catholic Memorial Knights finished up their game with a 1-1 draw.

Catholic Memorial's draw gives them a new season record of 1-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newton South will welcome Newton North at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Catholic Memorial, they will be playing at home against Brighton/Boston Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
