Baseball Recap: Pendleton Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Pendleton's offense. They came up short against the Woodmont Wildcats on Monday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 back in March.

Pendleton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tye Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Pendleton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Woodmont, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pendleton will welcome Liberty at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Woodmont, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mauldin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Mavericks have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
