Softball Recap: Reedsburg Find Success

Reedsburg proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 12) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Badger Badgers 4-3.

Reedsburg is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Badger, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Reedsburg and Badger will both be playing Monroe the next time they take the field. The Badgers will head out to face the Cheesemakers at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Beavers will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
