Baseball Recap: Fredonia's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Fredonia and Medina squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Fredonia had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1. The Hillbillies were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the four games prior), but the Mustangs' pitchers proved too tough.

Fredonia moved to 12-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Medina, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

As of now, neither Fredonia nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
