Baseball Recap: Culver Comes Up Short

Culver came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Crosshill Christian Eagles, falling 20-1. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Culver has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Crosshill Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

While Culver had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
