Volleyball Recap: Randolph Southern Comes Up Short

Randolph Southern lost against Centerville back in August of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rebels came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-7, 25-10.

Centerville can attribute much of their success to Ava Spears, who had 13 digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave Spears a new career-high in assists (three).

Randolph Southern's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Centerville, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Randolph Southern has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Winchester Community on the 23rd. As for Centerville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Lapel on the 23rd.
