Basketball Recap: Mcleod Skates Past Overton with Ease

McLeod won the last time they faced Overton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The McLeod Longhorns blew past the Overton Mustangs 41-5. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Longhorns had established a 29 point advantage.

The victory made it two in a row for McLeod and bumps their season record up to 11-13. As for Overton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McLeod will take on Linden-Kildare at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Linden-Kildare's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while McLeod has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
