Math & Science College Preparatory proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 28) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They escaped with a win against the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers by the margin of a single free throw, 1-0. Those one points were actually the fewest the Sharks have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The victory got Math & Science College Preparatory back to even at 3-3. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Math & Science College Preparatory is set to face off against their familiar foe Stella High Charter Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Animo South Los Angeles will challenge rival Horace Mann UCLA Community on Friday.
