Baseball Recap: Adams Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Taylor on Saturday, Adams Central came back down to earth. The Flying Jets took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwestern Tigers on Saturday.

Max Byerly was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That RBI was his first of the season.

Adams Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Northwestern, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Adams Central has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against Bellmont on the 15th. As for Northwestern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Tri-Central on the 15th.
