Baseball Recap: Lakeview Takes a Loss

Lakeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights, falling 13-3. If the Lakers were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Knights when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lakeview's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

While Lakeview had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
