Dawson-Bryant entered their tilt with South Point on Friday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pointers a 2-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-2 back in April.

South Point's batters probably weren't too happy with Abbie Deeds, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Deeds has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances.

Dawson-Bryant's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for South Point, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dawson-Bryant will take on Raceland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
