Volleyball Recap: Upsala Comes Up Short

Upsala lost against Osakis two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cardinals fell 2-0 to the Silverstreaks.

Upsala was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18.

Upsala has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season. As for Osakis, they pushed their record up to 9-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Upsala will stay at home for another game and welcome Bertha-Hewitt at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Osakis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
