Basketball Recap: Columbia Drops Season-High Score on Douglass Academy

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The game between them and the Douglass Academy Lions didn't end well, with Columbia falling 45-31. One positive for Columbia, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Douglass Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Columbia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-27 defeat against Math Science & Engineering on the 19th. As for Douglass Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Percy Sutton at 4:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
