There's no place like home for Mission Bay, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. Everything went their way against the Scripps Ranch Falcons on Friday as the Mission Bay Buccaneers made off with a 63-42 win. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Mission Bay pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.8 points. As for Scripps Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mission Bay will welcome Cathedral Catholic at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Cathedral Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Mission Bay likes a good challenge. As for Scripps Ranch, they will challenge University City at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
