Basketball Recap: Sterling Heights Stevenson Takes a Loss

Sterling Heights Stevenson lost against Chippewa Valley back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans took a hard 61-44 fall against the Chippewa Valley Big Reds. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 432nd in Michigan, while the Big Reds are ranked 49th in Michigan).

Sterling Heights Stevenson has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Chippewa Valley and bumps their season record up to 17-6.

As of now, neither Sterling Heights Stevenson nor Chippewa Valley have any future games scheduled.
