Basketball Recap: Classen SAS Drops Highest Score of Season Against Altus

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Classen SAS). They blew past the Altus Bulldogs 90-40 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Comets with their most commanding win of the season.

Classen SAS found their leader in sophomore Josiah Morales, who went 8 of 12 from beyond the arc on his way to 24 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Morales a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Evan Gunn was another key player, going 5 for 6 en route to 12 points.

Classen SAS's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Altus, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-18.

Looking ahead, Classen SAS will welcome Del City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Altus, they and Elgin will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
