Baseball Game Preview: Vidalia Vikings vs. Ferriday Trojans

The Vidalia Vikings will face off against the Ferriday Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vidalia has given up an average of 9.7 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Vidalia is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 12-6 to Caldwell Parish.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ferriday, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They blew past Madison 12-5 on Wednesday. The Trojans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Ferriday's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Vidalia, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
