Stratford dropped their record down to 6-5 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whites Creek Cobras. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cobras earlier this season, when they won 8-5.
Teroz Dowell and Cal Brock stepped up to the plate in a big way. Dowell went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Brock went 1-for-3 with three runs and three RBI. Joseph De Dios Lopez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
