Baseball Game Preview: Roosevelt Sharks vs. Gorton Wolves

The Roosevelt Sharks will square off against the Gorton Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Roosevelt is looking for their season's first victory.

On Thursday, Roosevelt didn't have quite enough to beat Gorton and fell 7-5.

For Gorton's part, Julius Vargas was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was Vargas' first of the season.

Vargas wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Gorton lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Gorton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-2. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
