Soccer Game Preview: Mill River vs. Mt. St. Joseph Academy

Mill River hasn't had much luck against Mt. St. Joseph Academy recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Minutemen will welcome the Green Wave at 4:00 p.m. Mill River has given up an average of 2.8 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mill River lost 6-2 to Poultney on Monday.

Meanwhile, Mt. St. Joseph Academy got the win against Proctor on Monday by a conclusive 6-3. Jada Hughes was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Mt. St. Joseph Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Mill River, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1.
