Baseball Preview: Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES vs. Tamaqua Blue Raiders

Mount Carmel is 0-3 against Tamaqua since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES will head out on the road to face off against the Tamaqua Blue Raiders at 4:30 p.m. The last four games Mount Carmel has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Wednesday, it was a hard-fought match, but Mount Carmel had to settle for a 4-3 defeat against Warrior Run.

Clark Cartright was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 7.1 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
