Football Recap: Panther Creek Piles Up the Points Against Southwest

Panther Creek put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Southwest Raiders to the tune of 63-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Raiders are ranked 665th).

Panther Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Donovan Webb, who rushed for 52 yards and four touchdowns, and also picked up 49 receiving yards. Those 49 receiving yards gave Webb a new career-high. Graylyn Fry was another key signal caller, throwing for 256 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt.

Panther Creek's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Southwest, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Panther Creek will head out to challenge Kennedale at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Southwest, they will host Brock at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
